We are looking for ambitious, enthusiastic and high-achieving graduates who show a demonstrable passion for working with young people. Our programmes are challenging, and so we are looking for candidates with a wide range of skills, knowledge, experiences and an aptitude for teaching. Our training locations and placement schools are based across Hertfordshire – applicants must be happy to travel.

Those wishing to make an application to the Primary programmes must fulfil the following criteria before making an application:

  • Grade C or above in GCSE English, Maths and Science
  • As a minimum, we would like candidates to have completed some classroom observation or have some experience of working with pupils in a teaching/leading role before making an application. Candidates should be aware of contemporary issues in education.
  • Applicants must also pass their Professional Skills Tests in Literacy and Numeracy before the start of the programme in September. Learn more about Skills Tests.
